Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota seeks an experienced and enthusiastic individual for the position of Program Director of a well-established Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services graduate program in the Graduate School of Health and Human Services. This is a full-time, annually-renewable, benefits-eligible position located in Minneapolis.
This motivated individual will be responsible for the leadership, direction, and administration of the program. Overall responsibilities include: overseeing and leading development and assessment of the curriculum; recruitment and development of teaching faculty; recruitment, retention, and advising of students; scheduling of courses; service on key committees within and across schools; maintenance of a strong presence on the Minneapolis campus; and collaboration with other program directors. Administration of the program includes overseeing the budget, supervising staff, and assisting with the cultivation of clinical practicum sites.

|Education and Experience||
A doctorate in a related field is required (ABD will be considered if nearing degree completion). An active license is required, such as Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), as is experience in the field post-licensure. Higher education experience in academic administration and graduate teaching/advising is preferred, as is understanding of and experience with state licensing procedures, policies, and laws. Experience with specialty accreditation is welcomed.
