Justin Bell, J.D.

M A in Health Administration - Adjunct Assistant Professor


Justin Bell is the regional vice president of advocacy for the American Heart Association. For the past 8 years, he has focused on state and federal public policy around health care access and reform, in addition to health systems, quality, and health equity. Justin graduated from the Winona Campus of Saint Mary's University with a B.A. in 1999 and received his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 2008. He serves as policy chair for the Minnesota Rural Health Association, co-chair of the Cardiovascular Health Alliance at the Minnesota Department of Health, and serves on the board of directors for the Minnesota Health Care Safety Net Coalition. Justin teaches Advanced Health Policy and Ethics for Saint Mary's University Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs.

Justin is a musician and writer and continues to actively perform in the Twin Cities metro area.
