Public Relations and Digital Media Major/Minor

With a major in public relations and digital media at Saint Mary’s, students learn how to effectively design communication campaigns, write, produce, and edit content for social media and news releases, and gain basic journalism, public speaking, and graphic design skills.

Throughout the program, students will learn how public relations and digital media professionals strategically communicate an organization’s objectives to target audiences and tailor messages relevant to different constituencies. Students will build practical skills needed for today’s professional communication and media environments. Degree candidates are given internship opportunities, offering them real-world experience and a direct connection to professionals in the field.
