Melanie began teaching as an adjunct instructor and now has 13 years of experience in education. As program director, she continually reviews the industry trends and program curriculum to ensure that our students receive the best education possible. She is a current member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the Association of Certified Public Accountants (ACPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Since then, she has held various finance leadership roles within the Twin Cities for primarily SEC-registered companies. Most recently, she was CFO for a software company located in Eden Prairie. Lynn graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Minnesota Moorhead. She has always had a passion for ongoing learning and has enjoyed working with employees and business leaders to develop their understanding of finance and accounting and the impacts on business. She particularly enjoys driving key business decisions through effective strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting. Barbara Doyle, M.B.A. M.S. in Accountancy Program - Adjunct Instructor email@example.com Barbara Doyle is a practitioner in finance, accounting and communications. + More Since 2011, Barbara has been vice president of investor relations at Itron, Inc., a $2 billion smart grid equipment and technology provider headquartered in Spokane, Wash. Prior to joining Itron, Ms. Doyle was vice president of investor relations and communications at Lawson Software, Inc., a $1.6 billion provider of enterprise software solutions based in St. Paul for nine years until its acquisition in 2011. Barbara began her career at IBM Corporation where she held positions of increasing responsibility in accounting and finance, strategic planning, business development and controllership before moving into IBM’s investor relations group in 2000. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Duke University. She currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the United Way of Spokane County. He has been a licensed CPA in Minnesota since 1973. + More Bob retired as an audit partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP in 2009 where he spent 37 years auditing clients in various industries. He also spent 15 years serving on the Minnesota State Board of Accountancy, a position that he was appointed for by the Governor. Bob is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Since 2009, Bob has been teaching various accounting and auditing courses at the college level. Walter Jungbauer, Sr. M.S. in Accountancy Program - Adjunct Instructor email@example.com Walter Jungbauer is president of Jungbauer Consulting and provides interim or contract CFO services to the company’s clients. + More Over the past 25 years, Jungbauer has served as chief financial officer for several companies in the Twin Cities in a variety of industries and with revenues of $50–$100 million. This experience led him to start a consulting business offering CFO services to companies that are in transition, don’t have a need for a full-time finance officer, or have a project for a CFO but don’t have a CFO. Jungbauer is a 1987 graduate of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting. He is the youngest of eleven children, seven of which graduated from Saint Mary’s. He was recognized as the Outstanding Senior by his classmates at Saint Mary’s and received the Saint Mary’s Alumni Appreciation Award in 2007. Jungbauer serves or has served on the board of directors for a number of local and national organizations, including Financial Executives International, Dellwood Country Club, Saint Mary’s Press and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants Business & Industry Advisory Council. Beverly Kile, M.B.A. M.S. in Accountancy Program - Adjunct Associate Professor firstname.lastname@example.org Beverly Kile’s professional experience involves working in the accounting, tax and consulting areas. + More She was a senior tax accountant, in a busy CPA firm owned by a former partner of Ernst & Ernst. She prepared corporate, partnership, individual and exempt organizations’ income tax returns, including ongoing tax planning for small to medium sized business clients. She also performed reviews, prepared financial statements including all related note disclosures. She provided setup and ongoing support consultation services to clients using in-house accounting software, primarily QuickBooks and Peachtree. Beverly received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and her master’s in Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant currently working in her own practice and reviewing tax returns for a CPA firm during tax season. Beverly has been teaching accounting and tax courses for the last six years. She has a love for accounting, especially tax and all that it can provide in a career. She teaches because she wants to inspire students to go forth in their profession with excitement and passion. Ronald Myszkowski, M.A. M.S. in Accountancy Program - Adjunct Assistant Professor email@example.com Before becoming an instructor at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Ron Myszkowski worked for Chrysler Corporation. + More He worked on a project that created the first computer image of a new Chrysler design, the Chrysler Le Baron. At Control Data, Ron designed, developed and internationally marketed design automation software that was targeted to the automotive product development market. He also used the Internet for business on a daily basis in its earliest days — before there was a Google or Internet Explorer. As director of strategic marketing for PTC, Ron was responsible for expanding markets into new geographic and industrial segments as well as handling special issues with key clients. Ron graduated from the University of Michigan and has a Master of Arts in International Management from the University of St. Thomas. In addition to teaching at Saint Mary’s, Ron has been an adjunct professor at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He also has been teaching at the Minnesota School of Business and Globe University for the past five years, serving for several years as chair of the business and accounting programs. Ann has been an assistant professor in the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota M.B.A. program since 2009 teaching managerial and forensic accounting.
