MA in Counseling & Psych. Services Program - Adjunct Assistant Professor

Ruth will graduate from the University of Minnesota’s Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology Ph.D program in in August of 2014. For the past 13 years Ruth has practiced and taught at a number of institutions in the Twin Cities area. Ruth has certifications in grief therapy, crisis counseling, and rape and sexual assault treatment. Ruth focuses her clinical practice and research efforts on geropsychology, psychological assessment, counselor education, and ethics. When Ruth is not at work she enjoys exploring museums in the Twin Cities with her partner and two-year-old daughter, cooking tasty vegetarian meals, and settling into a comfortable chair with a book and a strong cup of coffee.
