Faculty Christopher Erbes, Ph.D. Counseling and Psychological Services - Adjunct Assistant Professor firstname.lastname@example.org Christopher Erbes is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System’s outpatient post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) team for the past 10 years. He has specialized in the assessment, treatment, and study of trauma related conditions. He has served as the team lead for the PTSD and Clinician Investigator Teams at the VA. He has an active research lab at the MVAHCS and has published over 50 peer reviewed articles in the areas of predictors and consequences of PTSD symptoms, assessment instruments for PTSD and clinical outcomes, and family functioning and trauma. He also has a focus on novel treatment approaches for PTSD including narrative, family, and meditation based approaches. He co-leads the MVAHCS’s Family Therapy Training Clinic.
