DESCRIPTION:Oct. 28\, 2026 marks one year since Pope Leo XIV’s apostolic letter “Drawing New Maps of Hope” and 61 years since Gravissimum educationis\, Vatican II’s declaration on Catholic education. This one day conference is intended for Catholic educators in parishes\, PreK-12 schools\, universities\, digital ministries\, and service-learning programs. Hosted by the Graduate School of Education at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and co-sponsored by the Christian Brothers Conference\, this conference will consider the grand vision of Catholic education in today’s context and explore diverse approaches to fulfilling the church’s educational mission. This gathering is intended to bring various perspectives to bear on the opportunities and challenges facing Catholic education leading to critical action.
