On a weekday visit, we encourage you to make the most of your day by sitting in on a class, meeting with faculty or coaches, eating lunch on campus, attending a sporting or cultural event, or even taking a hike in the wooded bluffs that surround our campus. Held monthly in various locations throughout the country, these appointments are meant to be convenient for you! What are Regional Admission Appointments? These hour-long appointments are a great way to have your questions answered by the admission counselor assigned to your region. Typically held in a coffeehouse, restaurant or library, these appointments will give you a great sense of the application process, financial aid forms, and general information about Saint Mary’s University. Whether you are a junior just starting your college search or an admitted senior considering your options, these events will be very helpful for you and your family and get you on your way to scheduling an on-campus visit! Admitted Student Day is the perfect opportunity to visit Saint Mary’s one last time before you make your college decision. This event includes an overnight on campus with a current Saint Mary’s student. A bus trip is available from the Chicago area at no cost to the student. What is Admitted Student Days? In addition to sitting in on classes, you may attend info sessions about residential life, Student Success Center, health services, and others. You can also connect one-on-one with our financial aid staff regarding your financial aid award. Register for Admitted Student Day Spring Preview Day – Fri., May 16 For Juniors and Sophomores and their family & friends+ More Why should you attend this event? Spring Preview Day is our final visit event before summer. See the campus at its finest just after spring commencement. A bus trip is available from both the Twin Cities and Chicago areas at a cost of $25 per student. What is Spring Preview Day? Spring Preview Day is an introduction to Saint Mary’s for high school juniors and sophomores beginning their college search. Visitors can tour the campus, learn about academic departments, and speak with Saint Mary's staff and students. There are sessions reviewing the college search timeline, applying to Saint Mary’s, and how to access scholarship and financial aid resources. 2014 Past Admission Events Scholarship Recognition Day – Sat., Feb. 22 For Invited Scholarship Recipients and their family & friends+ More Why should you attend this event? The Scholarship Recognition Day is a special event for our DeLa Salle, Heffron, Presidential and Tomorrow’s Leaders scholarship recipients and their families. This event recognizes the accomplishments of our highest-achieving admitted students. What is Scholarship Recognition Day? This event features a formal dinner hosted by Saint Mary’s President Brother William Mann. Leading up to the dinner, students may attend presentations about the honors program, key academic majors, study abroad, and our Living Learning Communities. In addition to spending the night on campus, you can sit in on classes, attend info sessions, connect one-on-one with admission counselors, and meet faculty in your major area.
