Our visits are FREE!
What will my visit agenda include?
All visits to campus will include a tour of campus and meeting with an admission counselor. If you would like to meet with a professor, attend a class, meet with a coach, or have lunch on campus, please indicate when you register for your visit.
Can I visit a class while on campus?
Please indicate that you would like to attend a class when you register for your visit. If a class is available, this will be put on your schedule.
Can I tour a residence hall while on campus?
As a part of our campus tour, you'll be shown a residence hall.
How do I cancel my visit?
Your confirmation email will include the option to cancel your visit to campus. Please use this link. You may also call or email our office (507-457-1700 or admission@smumn.edu)
Can parents/guests attend the visit with me?
Yes, parents/guests are welcome to attend your campus visit.
What's the difference between a campus visit and an academic meeting, and should I sign up for both when scheduling my visit?
A campus visit consists of a tour of campus and a meeting with an admission counselor. A visit with a faculty member may be included if you choose this option when you register for your campus visit.
Can I meet with an academic community or representative while on campus?
Please indicate that you would like to meet with a faculty member when you register for your visit. A meeting with a faculty member (if available) will be put on your schedule.
I have financial aid questions. May I meet with your financial aid office while on campus?
Our admission counselors will be able to answer your financial aid questions.
Where do I park when visiting?
Parking information will be sent out before your visit. Please refer to the campus parking map that will be attached to an email sent from the Admissions Office.
