Winona Student Experience

So much to do, be, and become.

When you walk into a room full of strangers and feel instantly at home, you know you’ve found your people. That’s what it’s like at Saint Mary’s - a community that welcomes you, supports you, and finds ways to help you thrive. A community that will help you study and succeed. And who can tell you where to get the best late night pizza.

Community- The best part of campus life!

In Winona, living on campus means being part of a tight-knit community, opening the door to new friendships and connections that can last a lifetime. Campus life also offers a huge array of extracurricular activities and opportunities – including events, athletics, outdoor activities, campus ministry, and community volunteer activities.

You’ll find a variety of housing options on the Winona Campus, allowing you to live alongside your friends and classmates and deepen your relationships.

Bring your competitive spirit. There’s a place for it here.

Athletics on Saint Mary’s Winona Campus has something for everyone, from NCAA Division III intercollegiate competition to friendly-but competitive intramural games, and club sports to a wide variety of fitness and recreational opportunities.

We emphasize academic integrity, social responsibility, and athletic excellence while adhering to the philosophies and ethical standards of the NCAA, the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and our own Lasallian Catholic principles.

Intercollegiate Athletics

The NCAA Division III Cardinals compete in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). Saint Mary’s provides student-athletes with the opportunity to succeed in the classroom and in athletic competition, offering outstanding coaching and facilities.
