  • Experience

In addition to teaching at Saint Mary’s, I have taught several undergraduate and master’s level courses primarily focusing on psychopathology and diagnostic processes. I also have a private practice where I see clients struggling with a range of challenges, most frequently involving anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and addiction related issues. I spent several years working in the residential and day treatment levels of care in a facility focused on addiction.

My primary therapeutic modalities involve behavioral and cognitive behavioral interventions, though I also use clinical hypnosis. I am an active member of the Minnesota Society for Clinical Hypnosis (MSCH) and a member of their board.
