The Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Saint Mary’s University remains steadfast in believing the show must go on during this pandemic — albeit safely. Saint Mary’s students will stage “Significant Other” by Joshua Harmon, directed by Arielle Miagkov, senior theatre major, Thursday, Feb. 25, through Saturday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.

Seating is limited to 60 people each night to ensure that all COVID-19 safety procedures are followed. Anyone who is on campus at Saint Mary’s is invited to attend the performances. Those who are invited and plan to attend must register online to ensure that the 60-seat limit is not exceeded.

Masks are to be worn by audience members throughout the entire performance. Abundant seating is available to ensure that those in attendance are able to sit at least 6 feet apart. Upon arrival, those who wish to attend must show their Saint Mary’s ID in order to be allowed to view the performance in-person.

All three performances of “Significant Other” will be streamed live through Panopto, and anyone who has a SMUMN login can view the livestream. There will only be 100 people allowed to view the livestream each night.
