How to Apply
Applying is simple. Our admissions team is here to help you every step of the way.
- Complete your online application.
- Submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
- Connect with your enrollment advisor to review transfer credits (if applicable) and plan your pathway
- Get your admission decision (usually within one week)
- Register and start classes at one of our multiple term start dates
All Applicants must provide:
- Completed application form
- Official Transcripts from all previously attempted college-level coursework
- If no college-level coursework has been attempted, an official high school transcript showing an earned diploma is required
- Transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution to Saint Mary’s to be considered official.
- International transcripts must be evaluated on a course-by-course basis by a recognized credential evaluation agency (e.g., World Education Services, Educational Credential Evaluators, Educational Perspectives, or One Earth International Credential Evaluators) and determined to meet accredited U.S. university standards. Evaluations from any approved NACES.org member are accepted.
- An official transcript is one that is sent to the university by the credit-granting institution. Transcripts from countries other than the U.S. must be evaluated on a course by course basis by a university accepted evaluation service, such as World Education Services, Educational Credential Evaluators, Educational Perspectives, or One Earth International Credential Evaluators and be deemed equivalent to accredited U.S. university standards. Evaluations from an approved member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES.org) will also be accepted.
Saint Mary’s can order and cover the cost of transcripts from domestic institutions that allow third-party requests for eligible degree-seeking applicants. Contact your enrollment counselor for more information.

To be eligible for admission, you must have:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
- Official transcripts
- English language proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS) if applicable
We welcome students at any point in their college education who do not have a bachelor’s. Your advisor will help you evaluate how your credits apply.
Saint Mary’s University welcomes international students to our online bachelor’s degree programs. These programs are not F-1 Visa eligible.
