The St. Paul Pioneer Press featured former course-contracted faculty member Sandra Kilde, certified registered nurse anesthetist. The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology presented Kilde with the Agatha Hodgins Award during its 2021 Virtual Congress.

Cardinal Update An update about SGPP commencement plans

Several months ago, we shared an update about plans for future Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs (SGPP) commencement ceremonies. Beginning in 2022, we will have only two days of in-person ceremonies to celebrate our SGPP graduates. One commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, off-site at Orchestra Hall (this date is a change from our previous announcement). The other will be in June 2022, with a precise date to be determined.

The Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota website offers a searchable directory with contact information for faculty and staff. As the need has increased to locate people, programs, and departments quickly via the university’s directory, so has the need for consistent formatting of job titles, department names, credentials, and other directory information. Several departments have teamed up to standardize and validate this information, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing and Communication, and Academic Affairs. By Tom Brandes Who knew that when Brandon Merfeld tore his ulnar collateral ligament in high school, the result would be a positive, life-changing experience? Cardinal Update IT Department works to improve Wi-Fi on Winona Campus

The IT Department is collaborating with the Student Senate to improve Wi-Fi throughout the Winona Campus and will be making some upgrades over the summer.
