Psy.D. Alumni Leader Speaker Series — An Exploration of Having Preferences as a Therapist
December 5 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
$25

Clinical decisions are shaped by more than training and expertise. Join Saint Mary’s alumna Meghan Clifford, Psy.D., L.P. for “An Exploration of Having Preferences as a Therapist,” a session will explore how conditioning and survival strategies can influence professional choices, and how autonomy and consciously held preferences can support ethical, sustainable practice.
“I’m grateful for the training and experience I received through Saint Mary’s Psy.D. program,” Dr. Clifford shares. “It was particularly crucial for the development of my cultural and systemic foundational understanding. The professors were top notch and relationally focused.” A 2019 Saint Mary’s alumna, Dr. Clifford is a neuropsychologist, therapist, and owner of Clifford Neuropsychology in Eden Prairie. She works with those experiencing the impacts of complex medical, psychological, and social histories and provides care grounded in curiosity, competency, regulation, relationship, and science. She is often brought in when cases feel stuck and there are many layers of information to sort through.
This session is part of Saint Mary’s Psy.D. Alumni Leaders Speaker Series.
The series is an affordable continuing education opportunity featuring graduate leaders from the Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology program and highlights licensed psychologists working across a range of clinical, consultation, assessment, and leadership settings.
