About Rochester
Internationally known for the Mayo Clinic, Rochester often appears near the top of national “best cities to live in” rankings. The southeastern Minnesota community of about 107,000 is the focus of a $6 billion, 20-year economic development proposal to make Rochester a global healthcare hub, enhance the city’s amenities, and add thousands of jobs to the city’s economy. From the cultural events at Mayo Civic Center, Rochester Civic Theatre, and Rochester Art Center, to the beauty of the Zumbro River and the city’s miles of parks and trails, Rochester is a great place to study, work, and live.
