Living on campus
Welcome to your home away from home at Saint Mary’s. Choose from 12 residential halls, including transitional halls, suites, and apartments. With 90% of students living on campus, you’ll be immersed in a vibrant community. Enjoy convenient dining options located in the student center. Our hall directors and resident assistants are available to provide resources and guidance for campus life. Our comfortable residence halls offer more than a place to rest — they become your home, fostering lasting memories and strong bonds.
With 50+ clubs and a calendar full of events, The Office of Recreation, Involvement, and Student Engagement has something for everyone. Whether you’re interested in politics, promoting peace and justice, or playing sports for fun — you’ll find others who share your beliefs. Even start a club yourself! Over 80% of students are involved in clubs.

Athletics
Bring your competitive spirit, and leave with a spirit of camaraderie. Varsity Cardinal athletes have a long history of success on the field, court, slopes, and ice. They have brought home all-conference, academic all-conference, and all-American honors. In fact, the women's softball team won the national title in 2020. #rollcards Intramural sports are less about putting on your game face and more about putting physical activity and fun first. Club Sports are created by students for students and a way to explore new sports and hobbies — or start a new one!

Home of 17 NCAA Division III teams — more than 33% of Saint Mary’s students are athletes.
Saint Mary’s has its own 18-hole disc golf course and three ski trails, with Nordic Ski Club and Ultimate Frisbee Clubs being the most popular.
State-of-the-art facilities, including the Gostomski Fieldhouse, Saint Mary’s Ice Arena, the recently renovated softball and baseball fields, and the new track and field/soccer complex.
