M.A. in Human Resource Management

The human resource professional is a critical, strategic team member in today’s quickly changing business environment. In addition to directing the traditional responsibilities of a human resources department, professionals in this role lead their organizations in times of change. They help shape and manage company culture and employee communications while addressing the social, ethical, environmental, and economic contexts of today’s domestic and internationally focused organizations.

The M.A. in Human Resource Management program prepares graduates for this challenging leadership role through a series of courses that instill essential knowledge and skills. Additional required courses cover general management principles, and elective courses are offered in specific human resource management disciplines. The program focuses on maximizing individual and team efforts, as well as developing and applying leadership skills within both the human resources team and the entire organization.
