This year’s Hendrickson Institute for Ethical Leadership Forum, to be held Friday, April 10, 2026, will feature keynote speaker, Joanne B. Ciulla, Ph.D., professor and director of the Institute for Ethical Leadership at Rutgers University Business School and a pioneer in the field of leadership ethics. Dr. Ciulla will present “Leading with Integrity: Overcoming the Moral Hazards of Leadership,” which explores the pitfalls and temptations associated with being in a leadership role.

Dr. Ciulla has written extensively on topics related to business ethics such as meaningful work, corporate ethics, international leadership, and the philosophy of work. Before joining Rutgers, she held the Coston Family Chair in Leadership and Ethics at the Jepson School of Leadership Studies (at the University of Richmond), where she was one of the school’s founders. She also has held academic appointments at Harvard Business School, The Wharton School, and LaSalle University.

She has served as president of The Society for Business Ethics and The International Society for Business, Ethics, and Economics. She has been an expert witness, consulted, and given lectures and seminars to business, government, and non-profit organizations worldwide. Dr. Ciulla has received multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards for her work.
