Winona Post highlighted Saint Mary’s Concert Choir and Band’s performance, Lessons and Carols. The performance took place at Chapel of Saint Mary of the Angels which celebrated its 100 year anniversary last year. Students spoke about their experience performing at the chapel and what an honor it is to perform in such a beautiful space. Students performed Christmas music under the direction of Dr. Zoraida Oyola-Rebaza, director or music programming.
From the Story:
“Performing in the chapel elevates students’ art, Vivian Stolz said. ‘And we get to sing out into a space filled with marble and gold and the faces of our friends and families, and so that’s really special,’ she said. Truman Stolz agreed, noting, ‘It’s just making art, surrounded by art.'”
