Vice president for enrollment management, Michael McMahon spoke with the Star Tribune about how cuts to the Minnesota college financial aid program are affecting Saint Mary’s students. While the program’s funding was boosted, the qualifications for receiving the grant and the amount disbursed to each student will change, which could lead to fewer students receiving aid. Sophomore Jaedyn Fellenz also contributed to the piece, speaking about the effect that budget cuts to the state grant had on students.
