Saint Mary’s University is continuing to develop a plan so students can safely retrieve their belongings from their residence halls and will be in communication soon.

Because of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s direction to “stay home,” beginning Friday, March 27, and continuing for two weeks, students will not be able to return to campus during this time frame.

Our first priority has been moving the few students who remain on campus to one facility for their care and safety. Rest assured that the residence halls are secure, and campus safety continues to make regular rounds to our halls.

A plan is being developed so that students can safely stagger their returns to campus to more easily comply with social distancing recommendations. Roommates will be scheduled to return at different times. Carts and dumpsters will be available to make the move as swift as possible. This will take a coordinated effort, and we appreciate your continued patience.
