Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and the Catholic Psychotherapy Association (CPA) are proud to announce the launch of a new partnership to support the ongoing formation, training, and education of students and mental health professionals committed to faith-integrated clinical practice and scholarship.
Starting this fall, CPA employees, members, and their spouses will receive Saint Mary University’s Trusted Partner Scholarship, a generous tuition discount across three levels of education:
- Bachelor’s degree programs — $50 off per credit per semester
- Master’s degree programs and graduate certificates — $70 off per credit per semester
- Doctorate degree programs — $90 off per credit per semester
“The Catholic Psychotherapy Association has helped me throughout my professional career to be a more ethical, faith-integrated, competent psychologist,” said Anthony Isacco, Ph.D., Saint Mary’s clinical psychology program director. “So many members are supportive of our new M.S. in Clinical Psychology program. It was a no-brainer to form this partnership. I hope all CPA members take advantage of the scholarship.”
Saint Mary University is honored to partner with an organization whose mission is devoted to the integration of faith and science in mental health.
Nick Murray, CPA’s executive director, emphasized the benefits to students, “Not only does the Saint Mary’s partnership help fuel our mission, it connects us with students who are on the mental health professional track. We direct a lot of focus to helping students develop professional competences so they’re ready for when it’s boots on the ground career time.”
